Interested educators from across Metropolitan region volunteer their time from across Primary, Secondary and Environmental Education Centres to work in partnership with The University of Queensland presenting an annual Science Colloquium Dinner in celebration of Science Week. The Colloquium Dinner has been celebrating Science week for over a decade with many scientists presenting their research from diverse and varied fields.
Each year the Colloquium Dinner was held in August with trade displays and PHD students providing a Snap Chat presentation of their research. It is a great evening for networking with other educators, researchers, scientists and future leaders within the science community. The evening contributes two and half hours towards teacher professional development.
The dinner is open to all educators in the community. Science is part of our lives. Join us next year for a fantastic evening of learning.
