Bunyaville Environmental Education Centre (Bunyaville EEC) is an innovative and dynamic Department of Education day visit Centre set in the tranquil eucalyptus forest of the Bunyaville Conservation Park in north-west Brisbane.
I invite my fellow school Principal’s and their schools to think of Bunyaville EEC as an extension of your school campus. When we enter a ‘student learning partnership’ with your school, your curriculum intent and learning outcomes become our curriculum intent and learning outcomes. We plan assessment opportunities with your teachers and tailor-make the delivery of our programs to differentiate for the needs of ALL your learners.
Our dedicated and highly skilled teachers deliver inspiring programs to students from Kindy–Year 12—at your school, in local catchments or at our Centre in the forest. With all our programs linking to the Australian curriculum, our priority is to achieve the very best learning outcomes for ALL students. At Bunyaville EEC, students, teachers, parents and the wider community learn to care for self, others and place and ultimately care for the Turrbal and Yuggera peoples’ country we learn upon.
Bunyaville EEC also provides expertise and professional development to classroom teachers, schools and early year’s communities to build their capacity to take their learning beyond the classroom, to develop and deliver quality outdoor and environmental education experiences for their children and students within their own local context to engage every learner.
