We teach Kindergarten to Year 12 students.
We enrich student learning through targeted teaching of key knowledge and skills, creating a connection with nature, and empowering students to care for Country.
All programs based on the Australian Curriculum, Senior Syllabus and Early Years Learning Framework/Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
Environmental Education taught through key learning areas in particular Science, HASS (Geography), Sustainability and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures, all complementing the knowledge and skills taught in your classroom.
Our excellent teachers strengthen students' connection to their learning by using powerful pedagogies within our natural setting. We learn in and respond to our/your place, student learning is experiential and hands-on, and it is age-appropriate.
Bunyaville EEC runs programs in the forest of Bunyaville Conservation Park, at your school and in your local area, including your local catchments and waterways.
Our coordinating teacher will work with you to ensure we maximise the learning for all of your students.
Previsit curriculum support is provided prior to the day to support your teaching and learning.
We also aim to provide wonder and awe, and a few 'that's awesome' moments for you and your students throughout the visit.
