Bush Explorers is a play based learning experience for preschool-aged children and their families. Taking place within the tranquillity of Bunyaville Conservation Park, children have time and opportunity to become familiar and comfortable within the forest. The program includes elements such as bush walking, forest exploration, knowledge of our native wildlife and growing a love and appreciation for natural places.
Through a balance of time spent at Bunyaville Environmental Education Centre and out in the forest, children participate in sensory exploration through engaging in a wide range of open-ended natural materials. The gentle and familiar pace of Bush Explorers encourages deep, self-directed creative play and allows both children and adults to experience, connect and appreciate the beauty and joy of the bush.
