Our centre is dedicated to supporting all students and communities to learn about the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, in particular how they care for Country and have done for thousands of years. We do this by embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our centre's ways of working, in our teaching, running professional development workshops, holding events throughout the year and attending local events in the community.
We are very proud to have achieved the 'Highly Commended' award at the 2024 Queensland Reconciliation Awards for our work in embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in the early years.
