How to become a volunteer

Why volunteer?

Volunteering can be a very satisfying way to spend your spare time. There are many reasons why you may choose to take on a volunteer role, for example:

  1. To learn new skills and gain valuable experience which may help you achieve your career/life goals;
  2. To make a significant contribution to your local community and to the health of your environment, and/or
  3. To enjoy the opportunity to work in a friendly atmosphere with like-minded people.

Volunteers are an invaluable part of the team at Bunyaville Environmental Education Centre. Our current volunteers support us in many ways, which include caring for our learnscape plants and grounds, making resources needed for our programs and working with students during bush care activities. There are a wide range of volunteer positions available to you and our staff will help you find a role that suits your interests, abilities and goals.
